Does Bilic have Jelavic ahead of Carroll in the pecking order?

Or was that more of a tactical substitution?

Was sure he would bring Carroll on after the Newcastle game.

There are some dribbling Mongs following us. Slagging off the players when we are fifth, second highest scorers and already 3 unforgettable away wins to our name. Jelavic will run all day and put himself about. He will play more than carroll who some cunts seem to have endless patience with. He will likely score more too. noble has had a couple of poor games and also goes back the being a cunt. I'm not his biggest fan but he has been decent this season so far and contributed greatly to our successes. A few wins then mistakes and we are behaving like north Londoners.

Spot on Lertie Button. We have some bloody stupid posters on here who even write off new players off before they kick a ball for us. Lanzini was crap because he was only playing in Saudi. Sakho was a second or third tier French player, so was obviously crap. Adrian & Randolph were both crap keepers. The list goes on!

Amazed people writing off Jelavic after 30 minutes, give the boy a chance, 30 games more like.
What's the point of getting on the back of one of our players, just reduces our options, hurts ourselves, really really fucking stupid.

He was about a three inch stretch from winning the game.
I class it as unfortunate rather than poor. Maybe with more game time he may have got there.
It was hardly a situation like Borini's miss

Generally appreciate the way Bilic has handled Carroll and I think from that and what he has said it show that he sees the value. He is not being driven by the wages to get him playing and seems to have so far got the player to buy in, hearkening back to the extended training that happen before he even hit the pitch.

Jelavic has to be ahead Carroll, as it stands, simply because Carroll has only played 5 minutes in fuck knows how many months.

If Carroll can prove that he can stay fit for a sustained period, obviously the roles will then be reversed.

I'm looking forward to Jelavic playing though - I think he should be capable of nicking a few goals for us this season...

Thought it was a really good sub. Would have been easy to put Oxford on and sit deep but he still wanted us to be a threat, and we were when we had the chance.
